The goal of this project was to make a skirt and a shirt inspired by a fictional character. I chose C-3PO from Star Wars! I wanted to challenge myself by picking a male-all-gold character and then making a design for a female target market. This is my original design from sketches, to patterns, to fitting samples, and finally the final garments with fashion fabric (gold lamé). I obtained a lot of patience with sewing, learned how to create my own construction steps, and gained confidence in my abilities.
